Great Reads from Great Places 2027
Sofia’s Monster has been nominated!
Every year, each U.S. state and territory selects one youth and one adult book to represent it at the Library of Congress’ National Book Festival. For 2027, Sofia’s Monster is one of the three youth books nominated to represent North Dakota!
If you are a North Dakota resident, you can vote for each category - one youth and one adult. Voting runs from September 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026.
There are 3 ways to vote:
Ask your local library if they are participating in the vote count. You can cast your vote there if they are.
